Primary or Middle School Home Room Teacher

Position Description

Lewis Clark Christian School in Lewiston, ID is looking for a full-time home room teacher for our Primary class or Middle School.

Teaching Contract Length: July 1, 2025- May 31, 2026.

Compensation: Depends on experience.

Job Description

The candidate must:

– be a faithful Christian; a member in good standing of a Christian church.
– be able to agree with and sign the statement of faith and teacher handbook which can be found in our website.
– be a United States citizen or permanent resident.
– assist in the development of the necessary resources for the class, such as daily and weekly lesson plans, lesson and curricular goals, and assessments.
– cooperate with other teachers to ensure that students are prepared for the next grade at the end of the academic year.
– be able to effectively execute the duties of a teacher and meet the curricular objectives for the program.
– provide assessments for students
– provide weekly communication to families with updates about what has occurred and what is up and coming.
– agree to teacher meetings once every other week during the school year led by the headmaster and/or another designee of the Board of Trustees.
