Grammar School Teacher

Position Description

Los Altos Classical Christian Academy is seeking well qualified, full time grammar teachers for the 2024-2025 school year. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree and should be willing to grow professionally in their understanding of classical education as well as the art of teaching masterfully. Classroom experience is a plus.

Teacher applicants must be authentically committed to Christ and the Christian faith and display a desire to continually grow in their relationships with Jesus Christ. They must fully support and abide by the school’s Statement of Faith, possess a passion for and exhibit academic strength in their fields, demonstrate a commitment to lifelong learning, and exude a love for children.

We are looking for someone that provides instruction in an educational environment where students develop a love for God’s created world. We want our students to discover truth, goodness and beauty of God’s world through methods consistent with the classical approach to learning. An emphasis is placed on a biblical worldview in order to prepare our students for excellence. Our goal is to fill students with wonder about the world around them, creating life-long learners who explore God’s world with diligence and perseverance.

Applicants should have a background demonstrating a commitment to classical, Christian education either through college coursework, experience, or other discipline compatible with classical, Christian curriculum. Bachelor and/or graduate degrees as well as teaching experience are preferred for all positions.
