Part-Time Art Teacher

Position Description

Morning Star Academy is a classical Christian school with approximately 250 students from Pre-K through 12 th Grade. We are looking to hire a part time Art Teacher for the 2024-25 school year. We currently have a well-developed art program for our grammar, logic, and rhetoric students, and we are looking for someone who desires to continue the great foundation that has been established.

The art teacher will be responsible for teaching the following: (1) the elements of art; (2) basics of drawing; (3) principles of design; (4) and other mediums. We are also looking for a teacher who can guide our students to observe and understand the great works of art that have been set forth throughout history.
