Naperville Christian Academy (NCA) is seeking a music teacher for the 2023-24 school year to carry on our established music program, an important component of our classical academic program, which incorporates musical instruction and enjoyment for Kindergarten through 12th grade.  Through music classes and performances, voices, and instruments, we aim to teach students to speak the language of music and bring glory to the Divine Composer.

NCA has been educating students grades Preschool – 12th for over 20 years in the western suburbs of Chicago.  We are a tight knit – passionate – creative – and exceedingly motivated group of educators and administrators brought together by our shared love of Christ and the pursuit of the good, the true, and the beautiful.

The music teacher is responsible for:

·       Training students to use their voices in praise to the Lord (K – 12th)

·       Teaching music theory and history (2nd – 12th)

·       Orchestrating an annual Christmas Concert

·       Directing an annual spring theatrical production

·       Optional: Leading Student Chapel Club
