Lower School Music Teacher

Position Description

The teacher is to work with all students in a spirit of genuine Christian love and to demonstrate a vital living relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

This is a part-time position instructing grades Kindergarten to 4th grade. The schedule for classes is Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, with the specific schedule to be determined.

The ideal candidate is one with experience in teaching for at least two years and a passion for helping students see the beauty of classical music. The successful candidate will work with the music team to continue utilizing the Kodály methodology of instruction (training may be provided for those unfamiliar with the method), focusing on teaching musical literacy through a Christian worldview.
