Secondary Latin/Humanities Teacher

Position Description

Paideia Classical Christian School in Gladstone, Oregon is seeking a teacher to join our community of faith and learning and teach Latin and Humanities classes. Teachers at Paideia must be mature Christians who demonstrate a commitment to the Word of God and a life transformed by Jesus Christ. The ideal candidate will be familiar with Lingua Latina by Hans Orberg, be proficient in Latin and English grammar, and have experience teaching history, literature, or rhetoric.

We are a vigorous and joyful half-day Classical school with approximately 100 students in our secondary program (240 students across the whole K-12); our classes meet during the mornings (8:10-12:20), and students complete readings and assignments in the afternoon at home to prepare for class the next day.
