3rd Grade Teacher

Position Description

Point Christian Academy is actively seeking a well qualified applicant for a 3rd grade position in our grammar school.  Candidates must maintain a current teaching license in either elementary grades or early childhood education. If issued outside the state of Tennessee, the license must be transferrable.

Teaching duties include Bible, ELA, Math, World Regions, Science and Latin. Knowledge of Classical Education philosophy and pedagogy is preferred. Candidates should be able to work collegially with faculty and administration.

While we are in the third year as a school, this is our first year as a  Classical Christian School. In our inaugural year as such, we offer grades K-3. We will offer an additional grade each year until Logic school begins in grade 6.  We are seeking a candidate who loves the Lord, who loves working with young students and who desires to come and grow with us.
