2023-2024 Science Teacher (Grades 5-9)

Position Description

The science teacher provides classroom instruction to students in introductory physics or biology (9th grade) and chemistry (5th-8th grade), and guides students through the routines, procedures, classes, and tasks of the school day. The science teacher will be instrumental in helping the school build its high school science program as the school adds a grade each year. The position requires an educator who is a mature Christian who loves teaching and shepherding children. He or she should be a person who is personable, organized, and committed to providing a caring and engaging learning environment in which students’ minds, hearts, and souls are cultivated and nurtured.
