Head of School

Position Description

Sardis Classical Christian Community is a 3 day hybrid ACCS member school with plans to move to a 5 day option. We are the first classical program to come within an hour of Athens, GA (minutes from the UGA campus) and are entering our third year. We are searching for a head of school to step in for our founding leader to lead our program into its next phase. We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of CCE that is willing and excited to partner with our Board of Directors to facilitate the continued growth, development, and mission of our program and pioneer a Classical Christian school in the Classic City.

Desired Qualifications & Skills

• A lover of God and His Word
• An active member of a faithful Christian organization
• A Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• A deep understanding of CCE and the ability to communicate it clearly to people that have never heard of it
• A minimum of 2-5 years of CCE Classroom Experience
• Proven leadership and/or administration skills
• A desire to learn and grow as a leader
• An appreciation for healthy/holistic living
• Fundraising and/or grant writing experience and/or connections
