Dean of Upper School – We are seeking an inspiring and dedicated Dean of Upper School who will lead our middle and high school. The ideal candidate should be passionate about classical Christian education and possess the skills to nurture both the academic and spiritual growth of our students. This role requires a dynamic leader who can manage diverse responsibilities in a fast-paced setting and who exemplifies a Christ-centered life.

 

Key Qualifications:

• Education: Must hold a Master’s Degree in Education or a relevant field.
• Experience in Classical Christian Education: Minimum of five years of experience in classical Christian education is preferred.
• Teaching Experience: At least five years of experience in educating and working with middle school and high school students is preferred.
• Leadership: Proven experience in a leadership role within an educational setting.
• Conflict Resolution and Counseling: Skilled in managing disputes and providing guidance.
• Adaptability: Ability to enjoy and effectively handle a diverse set of responsibilities in a dynamic environment
  Faith-Based Leadership: Demonstrates a life that strives to model Christ.
• Faith Alignment: Agreement and adherence to the Summit Classical Academy statement of faith.
  Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the upper school faculty and curriculum.
  Foster an environment that upholds classical Christian educational standards.
• Engage in strategic planning and implementation for school development.
• Act as a mentor and counselor for students and staff.
  Oversee conflict resolution and ensure a harmonious school environment.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and stakeholders to enhance the educational experience
• Uphold and promote the academy’s vision, mission, and core values.
