Reports to: Vice President for Philanthropy and Community Engagement

Pay Range: $75,000 – $95,000 Annual Salary (Dependent on Experience)

We are seeking an individual who will…

·         Design, implement, manage, and evaluate all aspects of annual fundraising campaigns (All IN Annual Fund and Gratitude Gala) for various groups, including new families, parents, faculty and staff, grandparents, and parents of alumni.

·         Work with the Development and Advancement Committee to develop strategic plans and set annual development goals.

·         Manage the day-to-day operations of the upcoming capital campaign.

·         Recruit, train, motivate, and supervise volunteer leadership to achieve fundraising objectives.

·         Conduct research and identify potential donors to determine appropriate strategies and appeals.

·         Carry out personal solicitations, cultivation, and stewardship of key major donors as assigned in collaboration with the V.P. for PACE.

·         Strategize, plan, and manage the President’s Circle, including developing and implementing solicitation, cultivation, stewardship strategies, and donor events.

·         Develop and execute a stewardship program and plan to build long-term relationships with donors in partnership with the Assistant Director of Alumni Relations.

·         Manage events and communications for parents of alumni and grandparents.

·         Identify initiatives suitable for philanthropic funding through major gifts.

·         Coordinate all fundraising activities.

·         Supervise donor database management, pledge management, and acknowledgment procedures to support development efforts in collaboration with the Donor Data Management Associate.

·         Collaborate with the Stewardship Data Manager to ensure accurate and efficient donation accounting procedures.

·         Prepares agenda, communicates with members, and attends monthly Advancement Committee meetings.

·         Organize reports and special communication for the Board of Trustees and the Development Committee and serve on committees/task forces as assigned.

·         Oversee annual and donor reports in collaboration with the Assistant Director of Alumni Relations.

·         Work with the Marketing and Communication Department to drive strategy and content for the Support Us pages on the tbcs.org website.

·         Collaborate with Admissions, Marketing and Communication, and Parent Groups to support internal retention and community engagement activities.

·         Assist with other fundraising and PACE department events and initiatives as requested.

·         Assist with other community engagement events as needed.

·         Provide general fundraising and donor stewardship assistance to the V.P. for Philanthropy and Community Engagement.

·         Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

The successful individual in this position will:

·         Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

·         Execute things independently when needed and work cooperatively with a team regularly.

 

Required Experience and Education.

·         Bachelor’s degree.

·         An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for a degree.

·         Experience in direct fundraising required.

·         Familiarity or experience with classical Christian education preferred.

·         Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple deadlines and deliverables in a timely, organized way.

·         Adept at juggling competing priorities.

·         Ability to stay focused and even-tempered and to use good judgment in stressful circumstances.

·         Excellent computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft 365, school information systems, and fundraising databases.

·         Currently held CPR/AED/First Aid Certification (with Epinephrine Auto Injector supplement included), or arrangements made to obtain certification within 90 days of employment start date.

You must meet the following physical requirements.

·         Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

·         Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.

·         Work in a traditional climate-controlled office environment with occasional visits between campus buildings, requiring exposure throughout the day to the outside elements.

·         Ability to reach low and high shelves.
