Dean of Rafiki Classical Christian Teacher’s College

Position Description

As the Dean of a Rafiki teacher’s college you will get the opportunity to teach the Bible daily to college age young men and women using the Rafiki Bible Study.

You will engage students in theology and Church history courses, as well as pedagogy, child development, math, English, science, PE, and history which provide the content and craft of being a classical Christian teacher in an African context. This program not only cultivates excellent Christian classical teachers for Rafiki schools and African church schools but also is a discipleship program that instills discipline, accountability, creative thinking skills, theological development, and service into the lives of these students.

The Dean not only gets to help African men and women who have no jobs to develop a hirable skill but moreover raises up a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. Many of the students who come to the college profess to be Christians but develop true faith in the midst of the program.

Position Qualifications

·         A follower of Christ whose life exhibits the good works and fruit of the Spirit which accompany salvation A Master’s Degree

·         A willingness to raise prayer and financial support

·         The successful completion of missionary training at the Rafiki Home Office in Eustis, Florida

·         Agreement with Rafiki’s Statement of Faith
