Art Dean

Position Description

Art is a part of every grade level in the Rafiki Education System in Africa. As Art Dean you will bring Art history, appreciation, technique, and education to aspiring classical Christian teacher’s at a Rafiki teachers college. Art Deans will oversee all activities in the Art department, teach art classes, monitor and evaluate student progress, and maintain art supplies. Art Deans will also work with the Rafiki Widows Program leaders to provide instruction in handcraft design and construction and to select, evaluate, and order handcrafts made by the women to be shipped to the US for sale.

Position Qualifications

·         A follower of Christ whose life exhibits the good works and fruit of the Spirit which accompany salvation

·         Bachelor’s Degree or higher

·         Education and/or experience in Music

·         A willingness to raise prayer and financial support

·         The successful completion of missionary training at the Rafiki Home Office in Eustis, Florida

·         Agreement with Rafiki’s Statement of Faith
