Coordinator of Grammar School Curriculum & Instruction 2023-2024

Position Description

The Coordinator of Grammar School Curriculum & Instruction at Trinity Classical Academy is a part-time position (approximately 10-12 hours per week) responsible for overseeing the curriculum for grades TK-6 and ensuring that it aligns with the school’s mission, vision, and values. This includes ordering and managing the curriculum materials, as well as providing support and training for teachers to effectively implement the curriculum on an everyday basis.

This position will work closely with the faculty to provide ongoing professional development opportunities, as well as support and guidance to ensure that teachers have the resources and tools they need to be successful in the classroom. Additionally, this position will also work with the Principal of Grammar School to develop and implement strategies to continuously improve the quality of education at the school.

This is a leadership position that requires a strong commitment to academic excellence and a passion for supporting teachers and students. The ideal candidate will have a background in education, curriculum development, and teacher support, as well as strong organizational and communication skills.

Depending on the needs of the school, the role of the Coordinator of Grammar School Curriculum & Instruction may be divided into two positions that allow for oversight of the curriculum and support for lower grammar school (grades TK-2) and upper grammar school (grades 3-6). In this case, this position will work closely with the faculty and Principal to ensure that each section of the Grammar School has a clear vision and plan for the curriculum and teacher support, and would provide guidance and support to ensure that the curriculum is aligned with the school’s mission and vision.

The Coordinator(s) would also be responsible for coordinating communication and collaboration among all schools (Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric) to ensure that the curriculum is cohesive and consistent across grade levels.
