Position Description
Secondary Humanities Teacher
Trinity Classical School is seeking a full-time Humanities Teacher to join our growing secondary faculty. The ideal candidate will have a love for literature, history, writing, and theology, as well as a deep desire to disciple students through Christ-centered, classical education. If you’re passionate about forming thoughtful, articulate, and virtuous students who love what is true, good, and beautiful—we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Disciple students through the study of literature, history, and theology
- Teach with clarity, joy, and purpose in a classical framework
- Help students grow in wisdom, eloquence, and discernment
- Foster meaningful classroom discussions and critical thinking
- Integrate a biblical worldview throughout all subject areas
- Provide creative, clear lesson plans and meaningful assignments
- Design Friday home day lessons to support hybrid learning
- Maintain regular communication with parents and staff
- Give timely feedback on academic progress and formation
Qualifications:
- A heart for the gospel and a love for young people
- A strong foundation in the liberal arts and classical education
- Experience in or a willingness to train in classical Christian teaching
- A bachelor’s degree in humanities or a related field
- Warm, clear, and professional communication
- A desire to grow both professionally and spiritually
- A commitment to the mission and culture of Trinity Classical School
