High School Rhetoric Writing and Thesis Teacher

Position Description

Part-time, starting between now and January 2025

Trinity is seeking a dynamic, experienced upper school writing teacher who can join our staff midyear. Trinity is a hybrid model K-12 school and is in session MWF from September through May.

Individual will be responsible for teaching different styles of writing, focusing on persuasive writing and rhetoric skills. Individual will also be teaching Junior Thesis – guiding students through public speaking, debate skills, and a half year thesis project.

Position is for three periods a day on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Other responsibilities may be discussed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Evangelical Christian committed to the local church
Bachelor’s degree (English preferred)
Passionate about educating the next generation with a Christian worldview
Excellent communication/people skills
Ability to lead and motivate with godly, Christian character
Capable of managing a classroom with discipline and decorum
