Position Description

Tyndale Classical Academy is a Christ-centered Classical school committed to academic excellence, moral integrity, and joyful learning through a distinctly Christian classical approach. We are seeking passionate teachers who share our mission of nurturing students in both faith and intellect.

Summary: This position has responsibility for one classroom of up to 12 students. The teacher is responsible for classroom instruction three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday  and Thursday), for creating lesson plans and assignments based on provided trivium outlines. Curriculum and materials will also be provided.

Position type: Full-time. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:000 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., plus additional preparation time as needed. Training required in Boise, ID June 15-19 (all expenses paid).

Start date: Classes begin August 18

Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; agreement with and support of the school’s statement of faith; strong commitment to Christian education and the Classical Model of education.

Additional desirable qualifications: Teaching experience at a classical school, teaching certification, and/or advanced degree.
