Job Description

Veritas Academy, a classical Christian school located northwest of Columbus, is seeking a dynamic, part-time upper school Latin teacher starting in the 24-25 school year.

This is a unique opportunity to partner with homeschool parents by utilizing your expertise and faith to instill in students a love of learning about God’s creation, to strengthen critical and creative thinking skills as images of God, and to develop the God-given strengths of each student.

At Veritas Academy, students and teachers enjoy small class sizes, engaged parents, and a university classroom schedule with a maximum of three, onsite instructional days per week.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Personal commitment and pattern of following Christ
• Diligent Bible student in harmony with Veritas Academy Mission and Statement of Faith
• Undergraduate degree and demonstrated expertise/experience in related field
• Skilled communicator capable of organized teaching and classroom management
• Appreciation, understanding and experience in classical Christian education is highly desirable

BENEFITS:

• $23 – $53 per instructional teaching hour
• Traditional summer vacation
