Custom made armor is in the furnace, who will wear it?

Veritas Academy is looking for the right person to serve as our PreK-12 Principal. This person will oversee the day-to-day operations of the school and report directly to the headmaster.

In order to be a Principal at Veritas, our By-Laws state that the Headmaster, Principals, and Deans must be a member of a church that embraces the Biblical system of doctrine as set forth in the Westminster Standards.

The applicant must know Christ as supreme. They need to be the kind of person who loves the right things in the right way to the right degree. The kind of leader that will help prepare students for a fruitful life. We’re looking for someone with a robust understanding of Classical Christian Education. The lover of great books and things that last.

The applicant should be the kind of person that we want our students to become.

The work is rigorous, the conversations are difficult, the danger is constant, and the threat from the enemy is incessant.

Founded in 1997, the mission of Veritas Academy is to assist parents in the education of their children by cultivating truth, goodness, and beauty in students through a distinctly Christ-centered, classical, and covenantal education.

Veritas is located in the beautiful historic district of downtown Savannah, GA. Our aim is to provide a traditional liberal-arts education founded upon a Christian worldview. We’re made up of 185+ students from Pre-K to 12th grade.

All members of the teaching staff and all department directors (Operations, Admissions, Athletic, etc.) shall be appointed by the Headmaster after a careful consideration of their spiritual, academic, and professional qualifications.
