Position Description
Virginia Classical Academy is a half-day, classical Christian school for homeschooling families. VCA is a K-12th academy located in Virginia Beach, VA.
VCA is in our pilot year. We are seeking dedicated and passionate Grammar School Teachers (multiple openings, in grades 1-6th) to join us.
Our staff hours are 7:30am-1pm.
We focus on the 4 tools of learning in the Grammar school. Reading, Writing, Language, and Math.
Experience & Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
– Previous experience as a teacher or homeschool, Sunday School teaching experience preferred
– Member in good standing of a local Protestant church required.
Approximate hours: 25 – 30 per week
