Grammar School PE teacher

Position Description

Westminster Academy, a JK-12th grade classical, Christian school in Memphis, TN of over 440 students, is growing and seeks a full-time PE Teacher, starting August 2023.  The PE teacher will be responsible to teach JK – 6th grade PE programs, work alongside and assist other PE staff, teach girls PE, support and monitor the use of the Motor Lab, and regularly meet with Athletic Director.  Applicants must hold a relevant Bachelor’s Degree, enjoy teaching and coaching various ages, be familiar with age appropriate development, have a love for students, and a passion for a Christ centered Physical education program.  Priority will be placed on applicants who can emphasize the Biblical significance of the development and stewardship of the body and the integration of Christian faith and character in all areas of life.  Westminster Academy is committed to teaching all truth as God’s truth through the lens of Scripture and a Christian worldview from a historic Reformed theological perspective.
