Upper School History Teacher

Position Description

Westminster Academy, a JK-12th grade classical, Christian school in Memphis, TN, is growing and seeks a full-time Upper School History teacher, starting August 2022, to teach Ancient History and Western Civilization from a Christian worldview, and integrate church history into the historical narrative. Applicants should hold at least a bachelor’s degree in a related field, teaching experience, and desire to learn and grow in their understanding of classical Christian education. The ideal candidate will be eager to teach classically and to collaborate with other faculty members across disciplines to foster the integration of history into all subjects. The applicant must also possess a love of students and a passion for mentoring and discipleship. Westminster Academy is committed to teaching all truth as God’s truth through the lens of Scripture and a Christian worldview.
