About Our School Program

Our education program is based on a three-part method of training the mind. Students are given tools that teach them how to learn, how to think, how to find answers, and how to effectively communicate their findings. In addition to regular subjects, students are taught subjects such as Latin, Logic, Rhetoric, Linguistics, and Aesthetics. With our strong academic foundation and rich learning environment students develop a love of learning, while growing in confidence and character. New Providence Classical School is a beautiful place to be as transformation continually takes place. Good students become better. Unmotivated and non-performing students begin to do extraordinary things!

About Our Community & Mission

Our school is a community of families who value excellence and are committed to raising up students who love God, know Him, and are prepared to stand up for and defend His truth, goodness, and beauty. Having students who know how to think and solve problems is important to us because this is needed for the developing nation of the Bahamas and the global market place.

What We Are Known For In The Community

Persons who are aware of our school know us for our proven results. Since the school's inception in 2008, most of our students succeed academically. "D" students become A-B students and our students generally do well in the Bahamas' national exams. Our 6th Graders have passed the Bahamas' 9th Grade Bahamas Junior Certificate (BJC) national exam and our 8th Graders have passed the 12th Grade BGCSE national exam. Our school exceeds national averages. In 2015 of the 6,000 high school national exams taken in the Bahamas 1,200 passed. However, at NEW Providence Classical School 148 exams were taken and 147 passed. The student who did not pass his BJC exam was only in 7th Grade taking the test two years ahead of time.
