East Palmyra Christian School (NY)

East Palmyra Christian School is an independent Pre-K through 12th-grade school offering a rigorous education that integrates faith and learning through a biblical worldview. Our Christian, covenantal, and classical program equips students to develop their gifts, become discerning disciples of Christ, and serve God joyfully in their communities and the world. Students receive a strong foundation in subjects including mathematics, grammar, literature, history, science, Latin, logic, rhetoric, music, and the arts.

Founded in 1947 by local Dutch Reformed Christian families, EPCS remains a parent-owned and operated school. Our families currently represent more than twenty churches and a variety of Christian denominations, united by a shared commitment to Christ-centered education. Generations of parents, teachers, alumni, churches, and supporters have worked together to sustain the school, expand its campus, and keep Christian education accessible to families throughout the Finger Lakes region.

EPCS is known for its distinctly Christian, covenantal, and classical approach to education, which feeds our community of believers who joyfully serve God. Christ is recognized as King in every subject and area of school life, while students are grounded in enduring works, ideas, and virtues such as faith, charity, wisdom, and perseverance. Our students demonstrate strong academic achievement: internal results from a nationally normed assessment show that students in grades K-6 perform an average of 1.6 years above the national norm in reading comprehension and 0.9 years above the norm in mathematics. EPCS is accredited by Christian Schools International and the Middle States Association and is a member of the Association of Classical Christian Schools.

East Palmyra Christian School is located in Palmyra, New York, and serves students and families from Wayne County and communities across the northern Finger Lakes region. Our community extends beyond a single town or congregation, bringing together families from different churches, denominations, and backgrounds around a common commitment to excellent Christ-centered education.
