Tyndale Classical Academy (TX)

Our philosophy of education is deeply rooted in the Christian liberal arts tradition, drawing on the rich heritage of the trivium and quadrivium. We focus on cultivating the "art of words" and the "art of numbers," enabling students to think critically and engage thoughtfully with the complexities of the world. Through interactive learning, students apply knowledge in meaningful ways, deepening their understanding and reasoning skills. Grounded in God’s Word, we believe each student is uniquely gifted by God and, like the parable of the talents, we encourage them to develop their abilities for His glory and the service of others. This approach aims to prepare students to engage courageously and faithfully with the challenges of the modern world.

Most in our community are not familiar with Classical Education but are excited about learning more. We often hear "there is nothing like this here". Our families also are attracted to our three day model. Many come from homeschooling so the idea of having their kids at home more than at school is appealing. We are not in a reformed area. Most of our families attend Baptist and Non-denominational churches.

Families at Tyndale are encouraged by our commitment to disciple students in hopes they would shape culture and challenge falsehood. They are desiring this in their own families and appreciate partnering with us in this area. Our families love the idea of learning levels, viewing students as individual bearers of the living God with varied gifts and talents rather than automatically assigning a child of a certain age to a predetermined grade.
