Veritas provides a traditional liberal arts K-12 education. The core disciplines taught in the Upper School emphasize classical languages, the Great Books, mathematics, and natural sciences. All students are required to complete formal coursework in the liberal arts of grammar, logic, and rhetoric. Humanities courses are taught as integrated seminars combining a study of history, literature, and philosophy. All science instruction includes laboratory experimentation.

Veritas exists to glorify God by cultivating students of wisdom and virtue through a Christ-centered, academically robust classical education. Our goal is to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and vision necessary to be effective leaders and servants for Christ in all spheres of life. We seek to raise up a generation of young people who have a genuine love of learning, who love Jesus Christ with all their hearts and minds, and who can articulate the Christian message with clarity, creativity, and love.

We believe Veritas School is uniquely positioned to call our students, faculty and parent community to scholarship and discipleship, both on and off campus. Through corporate service opportunities, intentional leadership development, the opportunity to host many community organizations and to convene gatherings for speakers and artists, Veritas desires to be an integral and contributing institution of faith and learning in our city.

Veritas is located on the Northside of Richmond, Virginia. Within five stately and historic buildings are classrooms and common spaces dedicated to serving the academic, spiritual, artistic, and athletic development of each of our students. These students represent over 100 churches and come from homes across the entire metro Richmond area.
