2nd Grade Teacher

Position Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a second grade Grammar School Teacher located in Tehachapi, CA. The Grammar School Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, maintaining classroom discipline, and mentoring students in Christian faith. The teacher will also communicate regularly with parents, assess student progress, and participate in school events and school provided professional development.

Required Qualifications

BA or BS (does not need to be in education; may be within one year of completion)
Experience in lesson planning and teaching preferred, but will train
Strong communication skills (written and oral) are essential
Exceptional classroom management abilities
Good organizational skills
Demonstration of regular attendance in a local Bible-believing church (Church Reference Form)
Experience with Biblically based education is preferred (Sunday school teaching, etc.)
