Upper School Rhetoric/Humanities Teacher

Position Description

Rockbridge Academy is seeking candidates for a full-time Upper School Rhetoric/Humanities teacher for the 2026-27 academic year. The ideal teacher will possess a love for God’s word, a love for learning, and a love for children. This rhetoric teacher will thrive at coaching high school students in the full scope of writing and speaking, from the details of nuanced grammar to the broader skills of evaluating worldview and expressing a well-constructed argument. History and/or Literature teaching responsibilities may also be part of this faculty position. A bachelor’s degree is the required educational requirement for this position and prior teaching experience is highly desired. Applicants should submit resume and cover letter to [email protected].
