Elementary Music Teacher – Classical Christian School
📍 Highlands Ranch, CO | Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM-4:00 PM

💰 Salary: $45,000-$65,000 annually

Starting salary is based on education, experience, classical Christian education background, and internal equity. Most new hires begin in the lower half of the salary range.

What You’ll Do
As our Elementary Music Teacher, you’ll introduce students to the joy and discipline of music while supporting their academic, artistic, and spiritual development.

Your responsibilities include:

Teach engaging elementary music classes using a Classical Christian approach
Integrate biblical truth throughout music instruction
Incorporate singing, rhythm, movement, poetry, chants, and age-appropriate music theory into daily lessons
Foster creativity, musical appreciation, and confidence in every student
Maintain a structured, organized, and engaging classroom environment
Assess student growth and communicate progress with families
Collaborate with grade-level teachers, department leaders, and school administration
Utilize Canvas for grading and classroom communication
Support student character development through biblical principles and respectful classroom expectations
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school-wide events
Assist with supervision duties including lunch, recess, carline, and homeroom as assigned

Required Qualifications
Passion for teaching elementary music
Strong musicianship and the ability to engage young learners
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Commitment to the mission of Classical Christian education
Spiritually mature Christian who models servant leadership and biblical values
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music, Education, or a related field
Previous elementary music teaching experience
Experience in a Classical Christian or faith-based school
Experience leading vocal or instrumental music programs
