Part-time Reading and Math Specialist

Position Description

The Hunter School invites applications for a reading and math specialist, serving grammar school age students. This position is part-time.Primary responsibilities for this position include classroom support in reading and math, but may include other duties as assigned by the headmaster.The successful candidate must hold a degree from an accredited college or university. He or she must have credentials in reading and math instruction and have experience working with students who need additional academic support. He or she must have an affinity for teaching and whole-heartedly embrace Hunter’s Christ-centered, academically focused mission. Finally, the successful candidate must have a strong desire to grow intellectually and spiritually through a commitment to lifelong learning. Preference will be given to teachers with prior experience working in classical Christian education, but we welcome all applicants with a commitment to the principles outlined above.The Hunter School is situated on an idyllic church campus in Richmond, Virginia.
